When should I schedule my move?
We suggest scheduling your move as early as you can. The farther out you can plan your move, the greater the availability you will have in choosing a date and time that works for you. Generally, we recommend contacting us at least one or two weeks prior to your moving date. However, if you have a shorter window we will try our best to accommodate a last minute move.
How much will my move cost?
Please visit our Rates section to see the current rates. Our estimate for a local move is normally based on an hourly rate, which includes the drive time for each leg of the move.
In a nutshell, the more prepared you are (everything is organized and ready to go), the lesser time we will spend on the moving.
Also, the access at the pick up and drop off location can be an important factor (walking distance, elevator access, narrow paths, etc.) to determine the length of the move and/or unforseen delays.

How should I pack fragile items?
Depending on how thorough you are, packing for a move can be a time consuming affair. Most things fare quite well simply being carefully packed in a box with lots of newspaper. However, certain items of high monetary or sentimental value require extra care. For these,the trick is to use bubble wrap around each item with tape keeping it intact, assuring that each item has no chance of rattling or bumping against another. Pack the box as snugly as possible with additional newspaper, tape it shut and it’s good to go!
Is it possible to move during bad weather?
Yes, it is possible. Our professional movers and moving trucks are prepared to move during rain or snow. In case of snow, we recommend that you clear the access ways in preparation for our arrival.
How do you protect my floors, appliances and furniture?
Our trucks are equipped with commercial grade moving blankets to wrap and secure your belongings. If you need extra blankets or packing supplies please let us know via our Quote form.

Are you insured?
Insurance is available upon request. For that matter it is necessary to send an agent to apprise the contents and establish the premiums.
Will the movers clean my home on moving day?
Our movers will clean up any clutter made during the moving process, but we do not offer general house cleaning.
Do you move pianos?
Yes, we do move pianos and other delicate instruments and furniture. However, we strongly suggest you to fill out our Quote form with any specific details about special care or important instructions.
Can I ride in the cab of the moving truck with the movers?
Unfortunately, we can’t transport clients in the moving truck for liability reasons.
